The time has finally come and were planning and preparing for our Spring Dance Showcase! It's been added to our calendar so be sure to mark it on yours!
The Spring Showcase will be held here at the Hayloft Dance Hall on Sunday April 19th, 2020 at 2 PM. (Doors Open at 1 PM). Participants can dance up-to 5 dances. Pick between Latin, Standard, or both combined. Spectators are $15 and Participants are $40 - If Under 18 years old is $35. Please contact Mike Ewing to discuss further details. Tickets and Sign Up Sheets will be available at the Office/Dance Hall. The Holidays have passed but our Gift Certificates are still the greatest gift to give, whichever season we're in! We offer a variety of packages from Group Lessons to Private Lessons or a combination of both. You can now purchase these at the Hayloft Office or call Michael at 206-595-2103.
This fall 2019 should be a great one at the Hayloft Dance Hall with lots of fun for everyone. We will be having our Fall Showcase at the Hayloft on November 17th, and our Ladies Latin Team will be performing at Lynn Offuts Seattle Crystal Ball where Kaylah Camerino and Sergey Nekrosov will also perform. Of course we will be having group classes by Sergery Nakrosov, Blackpool Finalist, on Wednesday Evenings at 7.00 PM. And additional Group Classes for beginning to intermediate dancers on Saturdays at 11.00 AM by Michael Ewing and Merly Claveraz.
We have been having a large influx of Wedding Dance Couples working hard at the Hayloft on Choreography for their big event. This includes brides, grooms, fathers, and mothers, so please be sure to introduce yourself and congratulate. Maybe our biggest and most exciting announcement is that we will be participating in a number of fundraisers to support our Local Youth Ballroom Participants. Since the Hayloft Dance Hall has been part of our community since the 1950's, thousands of people have enjoyed dancing at the Hall and many have been attending dances and training at the hall since childhood. It is important to us that we help support the growth of new dance participants for years to come, and there will be further news on this shortly. What a tremendous day it was at The Hayloft Dance Hall, Saturday October 20th. With The Seattle's Crystal Ball Competition being conducted, contestants were filing in at 9.00 am. and the the competitions started just after 11.00 am and lasted until 4.30 pm. Lynn Offut, the event organizer, once again did a wonderful job, and it was the first time conducted at The Hayloft Dance Hall in Lynnwood. Over 70 people were later treated to a fabulous Ballroom Dance Show and dinner at 6.00 PM, which lasted until 10.00 PM. Terry West was the DJ for the entire event. Local Stars Erick Linder & Shelly Meshkausk performed at the show, along with, Lazar Isakharov & Natalie Gohman. Standing ovations were given to these talented stars.
On Saturday September 8th 2018, the City Dance Ladies Formation Team conducted its first practice at the Hayloft North Sound. Merly Claveraz and Kaylah Camerino sponsors of the team will hold bimonthly practices at the hall on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Sergey Nekrosov Latin Professional Blackpool Finalist will have a significant role in the team choreography. The team should appear in the November 18th Showcase at the Hayloft. Ladies interested in the formation team can contact the Hayloft by email or phone and be referred to Merly, Kaylah, or Sergey.
Sunday November 17th is the date set for the Hayloft Fall Showcase Event. There will be Professional/ Amateurs, Mixed Proficiency, and Novice-Advance Couples showing off their skill to guests and peer dancers. This will be a catered afternoon event with social dancing between showcase dances. Early sign up for guest passes are available at the Hayloft Dance Hall @ $15.00 per guest, and Showcase Dance Participants @ $45.00 per dancer.
